The Impact 5-22 ministry is designed for adults 50 and older but not yet retired. Since the majority of the people in this group still work full time, activities are scheduled predominately on Friday evenings, Saturdays or Saturday evenings. At the same time, members tend to be empty-nesters looking for a renewed social schedule, thus a highlight of this ministry is a social activity scheduled four to six times per year. Recent events have included: a progressive dinner, a Christmas concert, a day at a cabin on the lake, and a dinner cruise. See photos at right.
Below is a summary of up-coming events and social activities. But Impact 5-22 goes above and beyond these events. It is our desire to minister to each other through praying together, fellowship, worship, serving, and learning about Jesus Christ. Get involved, get connect....

What does Impact 5-22 mean? Nowthen Alliance Church is located at the intersection of county roads #5 and #22 and we desire to Impact the lives of adults as Jesus Christ would - thus Impact 5-22. Although our events tend to begin at 5:22, Impact 5-22 has nothing to do with chronology!

Summary of Up-coming events: Spring, 2009: Progressive dinner. Meet at Strawser's at 5:30pm for appetizers, then Sinko's at 6:15pm for Salad, then 7:00pm for the main course at Backroads Cafe in Nowthen, and finally dessert and fellowship at Johnson's at 8:00pm.
Summer, 2009: Day trip to Sinko's cabin on cross lake.
Fall, 2009: Bonfire and Potluck, Saturday, October 24th, at 5:30pm @ Kinderman's. Bring potluck item, hotdogs or brats, and buns. Beverages and desert will be provided.
Winter, 2009: Wooddale Christmas Concert, Saturday, December 12th, 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 each. Stop by the Welcome Center to sign up.
