Family: My wife, Dorene, and I married in 1968, and have two adult children and two grandsons.
Staff position: I have been on staff at Nowthen since November 2003, overseeing the adult ministries, small groups, care and visitation.

Life before Nowthen: I spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy after highschool, during the Vietnam era. Later I worked as a Electronics Technician and a Service Manager before attending St. Paul Bible College (now Crown College). I ministered in Iowa for 18 years and then came to Nowthen.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, walking, fishing, piano, antiquie clock repair, and spending time with family.

Life verse: 2 Cor. 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
